Chechen Burl is also known as Black poisonwood or Caribbean rosewood. Has similar traits to Rosewood – two-toned grain pattern and high polish that is very much like a true Dalbergia Rosewood. This species is greatly used by many woodworkers and turners. Colors range from brown, pink, red, golden, and black all embedded with a shimmering iridescence.
